Wide compatibility:

12V WS2812B LED Strip:
WS2815 LED strip is upgraded version of 5V WS2812B LED strip. For 5M LED strip, even if all the LEDs are turned on full white, 12V version has no voltage drop. You don't need to inject power as frequently as 5V version.

Individually addressable:
Each pixel can have its own color and brightness. You can control it individually and set them to any color or animation you want. 256 brightness display and 24-bit color display.

Dual-signal wires:
WS2815 LED strip is Similar like the version of 5V WS2813 LED strip, Designed with one data wire and one backup data wire. Signal break-point continuous transmission. If one LED is damaged, the following LEDs can still work.

Easy installation:
Self-adhesive tape on back FOR IP30/IP65, it can be fixed on any dry and flat surface without any screws and clips. Each LED can be cut off at cutting line.
There are 4-pin JST SM connectors and separated power/ground wires on both ends, which make it easy to hook up each other and wire up for power.

    Tested the tape meter, 144 diode, without protection. At 11.7 V voltage, the current at all color values of 255 is 1.69a. That is, somewhere 16 watts of light + 3 watts to work logic. Yes, those who do not know, even in the off state the tape eats 0.3a on 150 diodes. At the maximum power in the “unstacked” form produces 52-54 degrees of heat. Played with fastled and the library from gaiver MicroLED. Gaiver Library is better, easier and faster. For those who want to get the right colors that match the correct rgb-you need to make gamma correction right in the firmware. How to do this-you can find on the website Adafruit. The color will be correct. And in general, the tape looks nice, the effect of the rainbow type looks shaky, especially after a simple RGB tape. The tape arrived very quickly, to Krasnodar for 2 weeks, the coronavirus was not inside, everything is clean. The tape was wrapped on a coil, inside the package was an additional drawstring with a connector, just came for soldering to the arduine. Thank the store!

    Received all three 1m strips of the WS2815. Out of the 450 LEDs total, only one LED is defective and is stuck on the red color. The LEDs look great when displaying patterns. No issues with colour cast from voltage drop over the 5m length. Looking forward to installing them, just need to figure out how to seal up the IP65 coating after I cut out the defective LED.
