    great connection to my wifi even far away. only issue is that you can still control the door even when the wall unit switch is locked.(to prevent accidentally closing the door when there’s something in the way) might have to connect the control wires to the actual wall switch to have that option instead of directly connecting to the motor housing

    I wanted to add smart control to my garage door and after searching I came across this item. I ordered and it came very quickly. Installation was very easy and it works great with the smart life app. The great thing about it is it also works through Alexa and Google Home. Now even when I am away I can know if my garage door is open or closed. Highly recommend.

    Excellent! Not yet plugged into my garage door, but I tested in simulation: it’s impeccable. Super easy to add to “smartlife”, the app sees when the door is open or closed even if it was opened by another way than the app. Too bad the case is in 220V. If it was in 24V, I could have connected directly to the engine without electrical or triplite socket.

    works as advertised controls my garage door. unfortunately Google and Alexa both only see this as a switch. if I ask Alexa if the garage door is open or closed, Alexa says “garage doesn’t support that” same with Google. however, it does work to open and close the garage door. “ok Google, turn on the garage” will open the garage door. “ok Google, turn on the garage” if the door is already open, nothing will happen. “ok Google, turn off the garage” will close the garage door. “ok Google, turn off the garage”, will do nothing if the garage is already closed… this is good
