The IRo1 infrared thermometer is easy to use and the digital LED display is excellent. Requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). Basically, it is a “point and shoot” device and at a click of the trigger displays the ambient (room) temeprature, humidty level and surface temperature of object that the IR01 is pointed at. There is a “emissitivty or reflectivity” adjustment using the buttons below the display to adjust for different materials that may retain/reflect heat at different levels. the plastic housing feels solid and overall, the device feels like good quality and well made. Without usinmg scientific instruments to measure accuracy and calibrate the device, I felt the ambient temperature was a little high +10% and humidity a little low -10%. Otherwise, super easy to use and I am happy with the product.
