    Very powerful blender but it is not without some issues. The lid on the blender must be held down by hand or it will pop off due to the internal air pressure in the blender. The base of the blender is not heavy enough and so the torque of the motor makes it move across the kitchen counter. This means that for a longer soup recipe (e.g. 5 minutes of continuous blending) you must hold the blender the whole time which makes the timer redundant. If you use a very low power setting then you can take your hand off. The blending container could be a bit wider and shorter to make a full blender mix better. Its an ok product for the price but a few improvements would make it a Vitamix alternative.
